2022 December the Third Week VAFEM Technical Knowledge: Fully split bearing unit helps to improve coal mining efficiency

 

At present, China is still a large country of coal production and coal consumption in the world. Coal mining is decentralized and efficiency needs to be improved. When you step into the coal mining area, the first scene may not be the endless black coal, but several crisscross "dragons", some several kilometers long, some even tens of kilometers long. Coal transmission line is an important part of coal mining and transportation.

 

In order to increase the amount of coal transported, the coal transmission line often bears a large load; At the same time, the environment of the mine site is relatively harsh, with more dust. However, most coal mines require 24-hour continuous operation. Therefore, the reliability and stability of the coal transmission line are critical to improve the mining efficiency. Any unexpected shutdown may become a production or operation accident.

The coal conveying line usually uses integral bearings or ordinary bearing units with seats (the internal bearings are integral bearings) as the support of the roller. The sealing effect is general, and the dust is easy to enter the bearing, which may lead to premature failure of the bearing. At the same time, the bearing unit with seat at the drive roller position of the conveyor line is located between the drive equipment and the roller, and its later maintenance and overhaul are time-consuming and labor-intensive, resulting in a long shutdown time of the conveyor line. The traditional bearing scheme restricts the improvement of coal mining efficiency, and also causes maintenance workers to be exposed to security threats for a long time.

The fully split bearing unit with seat is more convenient for comprehensive inspection, and its maintenance efficiency is extremely high. The use of fully split bearing units with seats can significantly improve the operating efficiency and profitability of coal transmission lines and bearings from the perspective of the whole life cycle, although the cost of early investment is high.
